CUMBERLAND — Together with their families, Shanna Marie Ingrodi and Charles Albert Van Court III are pleased to announce their engagement and upcoming marriage.
Shanna is the daughter of Ms. Cheryl Winters Kearchner of Cumberland. She is the granddaughter of Charles R. Winters of Potomac Park, Sue Howsare of Frostburg and Marlyn Winters of Cumberland.
Charley is the son of Deborah and Charles Van Court Jr. He is the grandson of the late Isabella and Charles Van Court Sr. and the late Marie and Frank Dudeck, all from Baltimore.
The bride-to-be is a 2000 graduate of Beall High School and a 2005 graduate of Salisbury University, with a bachelor of science degree in biology and chemistry and a concentration in pre-optometry. She is employed as a certified ophthalmic technician and clinical research coordinator at The Wilmer Eye Institute at The Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore.
The groom-to-be is a 2003 graduate of Patterson Park High School. He is employed as a non-emergent medical transport driver at Transcend, as well as a cook at Harry's All-American in Baltimore.
The couple plan to marry in the early evening on Oct. 13, 2012, at Rocky Gap State Park in Flintstone. A reception will follow at The Cumberland Outdoor Club.
Although some invitations will be sent, all family and friends are welcome to attend.
