NORFOLK, Va. — David and Cindy Gulbronson of Norfolk are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Emily Nicole, to Kelly Alan Carl, son of Don and Debbie St. John of Coropeake, N.C.
Emily is the granddaughter of Grayson and Lorrie Ackerman of Short Gap, W.Va. She is a 2005 graduate of Granby High School and a 2012 graduate of Centura College, and will graduate in December 2012 from Old Dominion University.
Kelly is a 2003 graduate of Granby High School.
The couple will be wed on Saturday Feb. 9, 2013, in Suffolk.
