MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — Together with their parents, Emily Deanne Kenney and Tye Emerson Miller are pleased to announce their engagement.
Emily is the daughter of Dean Watson of Morgantown and Lisa and Ron Allen of Springfield. She is the granddaughter of Margaret and the late William Watson of Jupiter, Fla., Carol Loy and the late Donald Kenney of Springfield, and Esther and Tom Ullery of Levels. Emily is a 1997 graduate of Hampshire High School and a 2001 graduate of Shenandoah University, where she received a bachelor’s degree in business administration. She is employed as a CPA at Turnbull, Hoover & Kahl, P.A. in Cumberland, Md.
Tye is the son of Diana Miller and the late Ralph Miller II of Cumberland. He is the grandson of the late Catherine and Wilbert Smith of Cumberland and the late Helen and Ralph Miller I, also of Cumberland. Tye is a 1997 graduate of Fort Hill High School and a 2002 graduate of Frostburg State University, where he received a bachelor of science degree in accounting. He is also a 2007 graduate of University of Phoenix, where he received a master’s of arts degree in teaching. He is employed as a teacher in the Allegany County School System.
A June 2012 wedding is planned at Emmanuel Parish of the Episcopal Church, Cumberland. A reception will follow at the Allegany Museum.
