RIDGELEY, W.Va. — Mr. and Mrs. Rich and Terry Parsons are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Jennifer Rachelle, to Nathan David Light, son of Mr. and Mrs. Dan and Ann Light of Pinto.
Ms. Parsons is the granddaughter of Isabelle Bradley and the late Harvey “Jake” Bradley of Ridgeley and the late Mr. and Mrs. Ernest “Ernie” and Hilda Parsons of Ridgeley.
Mr. Light is the grandson of Martha Swick and the late George Swick of Broadway, Va., and the late Mr. and Mrs. Daniel and Charlotte Light of Short Gap.
The bride-to-be is a 2004 graduate of Frankfort High School, Short Gap. She earned a bachelor of architecture degree from Virginia Tech in 2009 and recently graduated from West Virginia University in 2012, where she received a doctorate in human and community development.
The groom-to-be is a 1995 graduate of Fort Hill High School, Cumberland. He is a member of Local Union 1024 Carpenters and is currently employed with Walter N. Yoder and Sons in Cumberland.
The wedding will be held on Sept. 22, 2012, at Pinto Mennonite Church in Pinto. A reception will follow the ceremony at the Allegany Museum in Downtown Cumberland. Formal invitations will be sent.
