CUMBERLAND — Together with their parents, Katie Johnson and Daniel Gares are pleased to announce their engagement and upcoming wedding.
Katie is the daughter of Larry and Donna Johnson of Cumberland. The bride-to-be is a 2007 graduate of Fort Hill High School and received her bachelor of science degree in chemistry from Frostburg State University in 2011. She currently attends graduate school at the University of Pittsburgh working toward a Ph.D. in chemistry.
Daniel is the son of Lenny and Jeanette Gares of Rawlings. The groom-to-be is a 2007 graduate of Fort Hill High School and received his bachelor of science degree in engineering from Frostburg State University in 2011. He is currently employed by Elliott Group of Pittsburgh as an engineer.
A July 2013 wedding is planned at Rawlings United Methodist Church. Formal invitations will be sent.
