CRESAPTOWN — Krista Marie Bowman and Michael Scott Alburtis are pleased to announce their engagement and upcoming marriage.
Krista is the daughter of Mike and Terry Bowman of Cumberland. She is the granddaughter of Londa R. Bowman of Cresaptown and the late Gordon “Mike” Bowman. Her maternal grandparents are the late Frederick “Fritz” and Blanche A. Bergner.
The bride-to-be is a 2004 graduate of Allegany High School. Krista Is employed at Info-Spherix in Frostburg as a participant service representative.
Michael is the son of Debbie and Raymond Jedlowski of Cumberland and the late Anthony Alburtis Sr. of Ridgeley, W.Va. Michael’s maternal grandparents are Charlie and Laura Headley of Bowmans Addition. His paternal grandparents are Kathleen Alburtis, Cumberland, and the late Donald Alburtis.
The groom-to-be is a graduate of Beall High School and the Allegany County Center for Career and Technical Education, where he studied communication arts. Michael is employed at Sheetz in Cresaptown as a shift supervisor.
A May 1, 2010, wedding is planned.
