RAWLINGS — Lavada Catherine Bittinger, 94, of Lonaconing, died Thursday, Nov. 29, 2012.

Friends will be received on Saturday from 3 to 4 p.m. at the Boal Funeral Home, Westernport, where a funeral service will be conducted at 4 p.m.

Interment will be in Reform Cemetery, New Germany at a later date.

SENECA ROCKS, W.Va. — Barden J. "Bobby" Vance, 83, of Seneca Rocks, died Thursday, Nov. 29, 2012 at Hospice Care Unit in Elkins, W.Va.

Military Graveside Service by the Pendleton County Veterans Honor guard  on Saturday at 1 p.m., at Jacob C. Harper Family Cemetery on Allegheny Mountain with Pastor Barbara Rexroad and Pastor Robert Baer.

FROSTBURG — Mary E. Rice, 86, of Frostburg, died on Thursday, Nov. 29, 2012.

Friends will be received at Durst Funeral Home P.A., 57 Frost Ave., Frostburg, on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.

A funeral Mass will be held at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, Mt. Savage on Monday at 11 a.m. with Fr. Gregory Chervenak O.F.M. Cap. as celebrant.

Interment will be in the Maryland State Veterans Cemetery, Flintstone.

LEOTA E. DEWITT

OAKLAND — Leota E. Dewitt, 81, of Oakland, died on Friday, Nov. 30, 2012.

Friends will be received at the Burdock-Fredlock Funeral Home, P.A., Oakland on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m.

A funeral service will be held in the funeral home on Monday at 10 a.m.

Interment will follow in Gortner Union Church Cemetery.

CUMBERLAND — Hugh A. McMullen, 84, of Cumberland, died on Friday, Nov. 30, 2012.

Friends will be received at the Scarpelli Funeral Home, 108 Virginia Ave. on Sunday from 2 to 5 p.m.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Saint Patrick’s Catholic Church on Monday at 10 a.m.

Interment will be in Saints Peter and Paul Cemetery.

CUMBERLAND — Marvin George Snyder, 79, of Cumberland, died Thursday, Nov. 29, 2012.

Services will be conducted at the funeral home on Monday at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Harold R. McClay, Jr., officiating.
