PURGITSVILLE, W.Va. — Loraine A. High, 74, of Purgitsville, died Tuesday, Oct. 2, 2012.

The family will receive friends at the Shaffer Funeral Home on Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m.

The funeral service will be conducted Friday at 11 a.m. in the funeral home.

Interment will be at Elijah High Cemetery, Purgitsville, W.Va.

CUMBERLAND — Charles Eugene Curry Sr., 55, of Cumberland, died Wednesday, Oct. 3, 2012.

At his request, his body will be cremated and there will be no services.

A memorial service will be held in the spring at the V.F.W. Hall, Kingman, Ariz.

A graveside service will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. at the Mount Zion Cemetery, Swanton.

CABINS, W.Va. — Worth Harper Thompson, 90, of Cabins, died Wednesday, Oct. 3, 2012.

Family will be received on Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Basagic Funeral Home, Petersburg.

Funeral services will be conducted on Friday at 11 a.m. in the funeral home.

Burial will follow at North Fork Memorial Cemetery, Riverton.
