HARRIS SR.

MARTINSBURG, W.Va. — William “Bill” J. Harris Sr., 79, of Martinsburg, W.Va., died Thursday, March 4, 2010.

The family will receive friends from 1 to 3 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the Brown Funeral Home, South Berkeley Chapel, Inwood, W.Va.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday at 11 a.m. in St. Leo Catholic Church.

Interment will be in St. Leo Cemetery.



BARBARA SPROUL

HYNDMAN, Pa. — Barbara Sproul, 77, of Hyndman, Pa., died Thursday, March 4, 2010.

There will be no viewing.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

SISTER KATHLEEN MARTIN

BALTIMORE — Sister Kathleen Martin, of Baltimore, died Monday, March 1, 2010.

Sister Kathleen gave her body to science.

A memorial service will be held April 10 at 11 a.m. at the Mother House in Towson. 



PAUL A. NIGHTINGALE

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — Paul A. Nightingale, 74, of Fayetteville, N.C., formerly of Lonaconing, died Saturday, Feb. 13, 2010. 

A memorial service will be held Sunday, March 14, 2010, at the First Presbyterian Church, 1 E. Main St., Lonaconing, at 3 p.m.

FARWELL, Mich. — James Leslie Miller, 63, of Farwell, Mich., died Monday, Feb. 22, 2010.

Graveside services were held for the family Feb. 25, 2010, followed by the memorial service at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, Clare, Mich.

FROSTBURG — Edith A. Kitzmiller, 85, of Frostburg, died Friday, March 5, 2010.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday in the Sowers Funeral Home, P.A., at 11 a.m.

Inurnment will be in Frostburg Memorial Park.

STAFFORD, Va. — Roy Nichols Loy, 72, of Stafford, Va., formerly of Hampshire Co., W.Va., died Friday, March 5, 2010.

A graveside service will be conducted on Tuesday at 2 p.m. in Mount Zion Cemetery, Augusta, W.Va.

All arrangements are being handled by McKee Funeral Home, Augusta, W.Va.



E. ROBERTA MCVEIGH

CUMBERLAND — E. Roberta McVeigh, 80, of Cumberland, died Friday, March 5, 2010.

A memorial service will be conducted on Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. in St. Luke’s Lutheran Church. The family will receive friends at the church an hour prior to the service.

Interment will be in the Maryland State Veterans Cemetery at Rocky Gap.

RAWLINGS — Hazel Dawn VanPelt, 93, of Rawlings, died Thursday, March 4, 2010.

Friends may call at the Smith Funeral Home, Keyser Chapel, on Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Monday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m.

Funeral services will be conducted in the Dawson United Methodist Church on Tuesday at 11 a.m. Friends may also call at the church one hour prior to the service.

Interment will be in the Dawson Cemetery.



JOE P. BODKIN JR.

UPPER TRACT, W.Va. — Joe Peter Bodkin Jr., 79, of Upper Tract, W.Va., died Friday, March 5, 2010.

Friends will be received at the Basagic Funeral Home, Franklin, W.Va., on Monday from 6 to 8 p.m.

Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday at 11 a.m in the Christ Central Church.

Interment will be in Cherry Hill Cemetery, Upper Tract, W.Va.

CUMBERLAND — Margaret V. Brown, 104, of Cumberland, died Saturday, March 6, 2010.

Arrangements are being handled by the Scarpelli Funeral Home, 108 Virginia Ave., Cumberland, and are incomplete at this time.
