Just in time for the observation of Presidents Day, Dawna Staup from The Art Gallery in LaVale works to matte and frame two prints by Andy Thomas. The two pictures show former presidents from the two parties as they casually play a game of cards. Depicted in the “True Blues” Democrats painting are former presidents Jimmy Carter, Bill Clinton, Andrew Jackson, Lyndon Johnson, John Kennedy, Franklin Roosevelt, Harry Truman and Woodrow Wilson. Depicted in the “Grand Ole’ Gang” Republican painting are former presidents George H. Bush, George W. Bush, Dwight Eisenhower, Gerald Ford, Abe Lincoln, Richard Nixon, Ronald Reagan and Teddy Roosevelt.
