WYE MILLS — Chesapeake pounded out 17 hits in a first-game win and had 13 more in the second in an 11-3, 8-3 sweep of Allegany College Saturday afternoon.
The Trojans led 3-1 early in the opener but the Skipjacks took the lead with a five-run second inning.
Martina Kurtz went 2-for-3 and Monica Rosensteel tripled for Allegany.
In the nitecap, Julia Carr and Lauren Howell doubled and singled twice to lead Chesapeake (16-10).
Kurtz went 3-for-3 and Courtney Trainor hit a solo homer and a single for the Trojans (4-12), who end the regular season today in a noon doubleheader against Harford at Cavanaugh Field.
