KEYSER, W.Va. — Cecil College spoiled Potomac State College’s season and home softball opener Friday afternoon with a doubleheader sweep.

Potomac State was led at the plate by Sheila Armel’s double and Morgan Shockey’s two hits, one a double.

Katie Ferguson picked up the win and Aaryka Anglin took the loss.

In the second game, Cecil took a 2-0 lead in the top of the first, made it 3-0 with Katie Ferguson’s solo home run in the third inning, and took a comfortable lead with its three-run sixth inning.
