Cumberland — Healthcare 1st Federal Credit Union opens new branch, headquarters

CUMBERLAND — Healthcare 1st Federal Credit Union’s new corporate headquarters and branch office at 1050 Industrial Boulevard, Suite 16, Cumberland, was recently completed by Morgan-Keller Specialty Contracts Group.

The 2,220-square-foot branch includes a lobby with three teller stations, two loan offices and a CEO’s office.

“I told them what our vision was and they shared our vision and produced our dream,” said Connie Powers-Dickel, CEO of Healthcare 1st FCU.

Formed in 1960, the credit union staff is excited about serving their members at the new location, according to Powers-Dickel.

Allegany County Teachers Federal Credit Union now open

CUMBERLAND — Morgan-Keller Specialty Contracts Group recently completed the 2,320-square-foot design-build construction of Allegany County Teachers Federal Credit Union’s new branch, located at 11905 Messick Road in Cumberland.

The branch offers a three-lane drive-thru, drive-up ATM and a lobby with staff ready to assist their members. 

It is located near the Western Maryland Health System’s new Regional Medical Center.

“Morgan-Keller and their entire staff invoked trust from the very beginning,” said Patricia Folk, credit union president/CEO. They were not just interested in completing a building; they were focused on a long-term partnership.”

Formed in 1950, Allegany County Teachers Federal Credit Union now has three branch locations, including LaVale and Cumberland.

Malcolm January Partner of the Month at Pilgrim’s Pride

MOOREFIELD, W.Va. — Melissa “Missy” Malcolm has been honored as the January Partner of the Month for the Pilgrim’s Pride Moorefield fresh plant.

Malcolm works in the accounting department on day shift and has worked for the company for 16 years.

Kathy Riggleman, Malcolm’s supervisor, said, “Missy has excellent attendance. She works very hard to insure she is performing her job tasks correctly. She does a great job making sure her work is completed in a timely manner and always assists her co-workers when needed.”
