CUMBERLAND — Sean Elliott had a hat trick to lead the Fort Hill Sentinels to a 5-0 victory over Calvary Christian Academy Saturday.
It was the Sentinels seventh victory in nine games and goalie Daniel Johnson, with six saves, had his fourth shutout of the season.
Fort Hill led 2-0 in the first half on goals by Elliott and Brad Tyler. Tyler assisted on Elliott’s goal and Ty Hemmis assisted on Tyler’s.
In the second half, Elliott scored the next two goals and Josh Borland had the fifth with 3:20 remaining in the game. Borland assisted on Elliott’s first second half goal. Elliott’s next goal and Borland’s were unassisted.
Fort Hill dominated, outshooting Calvary 40-10 and leading in corner kicks 5-0.
Calvary’s Ryan McKenzie made 20 saves.
Fort Hill (6-3) hosts Southern on Tuesday at Greenway Avenue Stadium. The JV game begins at 5:45 and the varsity game begins at 7:30 p.m. Calvary (3-11) hosts New Life Tuesday.
