BALTIMORE — Shakena Williams hit only three field goals but scored a game-high 21 points and Jourdan Stanhope added 15 to lead Frederick Community College to a 69-62 win over Potomac State on the final day of the Charm City Classic on Sunday.
Williams did most of her damage from the foul line, where she made 13 of 18 tries. Kia Whitley and Precious Shirk had 10 points as the Cougars (6-6) won their fourth in a row.
Jenna McAtee led Potomac State with 11 points and Rachel Waibogha had 10. Morgan Wright had eight points nine rebounds for the Catamounts (1-9), who trailed 37-33 at halftime but led by as many as nine points midway through the second half. Frederick regained the lead for good with three minutes remaining.
Potomac State dropped all three of its games in the tournament. The Cats lost to Chesapeake 88-67 on Saturday and to Baltimore City 82-60 on Friday night.
On Saturday, PSC closed the gap to three points midway through the second half against Chesapeake, but was unable to get any closer.
Sidney Small hit eight three-point goals and had 28 points for the Skipjacks. Waibogha had 16 points and eight rebounds and McAtee 17 points and seven assists for Potomac State. Lindsey Miller added 13 points and Wright nine rebounds.
Friday night against Baltimore, Waibogha had a double-double with 10 points and 11 rebounds. Wright had 12 points, Miller 10 and Heather Lesniowski nine points, eight rebounds and six assists.
Iman Scott poured in 30 points for Baltimore.

MCHENRY — Janice Bartley and Tara McKenzie scored 19 points apiece to help power Garrett over Prince George’s in a Maryland JUCO game on Saturday.
Bartley hit five field goals and 8 of 9 free throws. McKenzie, a former Northern Garrett High standout, hit six field goals, with three being three-pointers, and all four of her foul shots.
Rodrina Thorpe-Shepherd added 10 points and Shameena Johnson nine for the Lakers (5-4 overall, 1-3 JUCO).
Tiara Smith had 20 points for the Owls (1-4, 0-4)

Frostburg State 49
SALISBURY — Julia McLaughlin scored 16 points off the bench to lead Salisbury past Frostburg State in a Capital Athletic Conference game.
McLaughlin, who hit five field goals and all six of her free throws, scored her 16 points in just 17 minutes of playing time for the Sea Gulls (4-4, 1-0 CAC). Katie McGahagan added 11 points and Becca Himes had six points and 12 rebounds.
Elaina Hummel scored a game-high 20 points and hit five three-point goals for Frostburg (2-5, 0-2). Stephanie Straka had eight points, nine rebounds, three assists and two steals.
The Bobcats got to within 43-38 after a Straka steal and layup midway through the second half, but the Sea Gulls pushed the lead to 10 with six minutes to play and FSU was unable to get any closer.
Frostburg plays at Penn State-Harrisburg on Tuesday.

BALTIMORE — Allegany College of Maryland saw its struggles continue with a loss to Dundalk on Friday.
Tiffany Evans led all scorers with 20 points for Dundalk.
Dirica Souder had 12 and Monique Rhodes added 11 for Allegany (0-11, 0-4 Maryland JUCO), which will be idle until hosting Anne Arundel on Jan. 7.
