PETERSBURG, W.Va. — Adam Snyder had 20 and Jared Kite scored a season-high 19 points to lead Moorefield, 61-54, over East Hardy in the West Virginia Class A Region II, Section 4 Finals at Petersburg on Saturday.
The win marks the fourth time this season that the Yellow Jackets have defeated cross-county rival East Hardy.
East Hardy trailed by one at halftime but led by one going into the fourth.
The Yellow Jackets’ 22-14 fourth quarter put the game away.
Tyler Mongold had a game-high 23 for East Hardy (13-10). Korey Foltz put in 12 more and Wyatt Basye added 10.
Moorefield (11-12) hosts Notre Dame Thursday at 6 p.m. in the Class AA Region II Finals.
