SHORT GAP, W.Va. — Barrelville Outdoor Club rallied to score 11 runs in the final two innings, erasing a five-run deficit, to win 15-10 over Fort Ashby VFW at Frankfort High School on Monday.
Fort Ashby led 9-4 going into the sixth inning when Barrelville proceeded to score in bunches.
Ryan Tipton hit three singles, Bobby Deneen and Brad Torbet each raked two RBI doubles, Aaron Winters and Garrett Dickel each knocked two singles.
J.P. Twigg led Fort Ashby’s attack with three doubles, Ryan Mackie added a double and a single, Ryan Chase and Troy Baker each hit doubles.
Barrelville inches closer to .500 at 4-5 and plays today against Salisbury at Dickel Field.
Fort Ashby VFW will look to rebound in Westernport today against WEPCO.
