Ronald E. Delligatti [Mechanicsburg]

MECHANICSBURG, Pa. — Ronald E. Delligatti, 68, of Mechanicsburg, Pa., passed away Thursday, Feb. 4, 2010, at his home.

Born Feb. 5, 1941, in Connellsville, Pa., he was a son of the late Ralph Sr. and Veronica (Mattis) Delligatti. He was preceded in death by his brother Ralph Delligatti Jr.

He was formerly employed by the Kelly-Springfield Tire Company and was a member of First United Methodist Church in Mechanicsburg. In his free time he enjoyed building and flying radio controlled model airplanes, fixing and building things, traveling, and spending time with his dogs.

Surviving are his loving wife of 25 years, Vicki L. (Fox) Delligatti; daughters Debbie Clayton and Ronda Delligatti, both of Cumberland; two grandchildren; his brother, William Delligatti of Hot Springs, Ark.; as well as a loving extended family, consisting of numerous in-laws, nieces and nephews, and close friends.

Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, Feb. 9, 2010, at 2 p.m. in the First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Michael V. Minnix officiating. A viewing will be held one hour prior to the service, from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m., at the church.

Interment will take place in Sunset Memorial Park Cumberland, at the convenience of the family.
