Madison Reed and Noah Spradlin encountered Dennis “Mountain Man” Lashley on Friday during the walking field trip. Lashley, president of the Mount Savage Historical Society, spoke of what life was like for Eastern Woodlands American Indians. His presentation included bones and other animal products used by Indians for tools and clothing.
