Authorities arrest 12 alleged drug dealers in Bedford County

State troopers join task force in Operation Coal for Christmas

BEDFORD, Pa. — An early-morning round-up of alleged drug dealers in Bedford County on Tuesday netted 17 arrests and one outstanding warrant by the Bedford County Drug Task Force and Pennsylvania State Police.

Dubbed Operation Coal for Christmas, the defendants were charged with dealing various drugs, including marijuana, Ecstasy, prescription pills and heroin.

Arrested were:

• Bedford: Bryan Muhlbauer, 37; Robert Boduch, 62; Edward Layton, 43; Steven Mitchell, 28; Thomas Fix, 22; and William Howard, 27, all for marijuana.

• Manns Choice: Paul Stufft, 49, marijuana; Sara Baumgardner, 18, pills.

• Everett: Diana Naylor, 20, marijuana, Ecstasy; Vicki Kruse, 32, pills; Kayla Bartholow, 20, marijuana, pills; Lawrence Divelbiss Jr., 20, pills.

• New Paris: Gary L. Miller, 52, marijuana.

• Six Mile Run: Lola Meyers, 25, pills.

• Warfordsburg: Jennifer Eichelberger, 27, pills.

• Saxton: Jesse Hoover, 22, marijuana.

• Breezewood: Zane Mellott, 29, heroin.

Police had an outstanding warrant for Derrick Bridges, 25, New Paris, for heroin charges as of Tuesday afternoon.
