Plamondon announces personnel changes

FREDERICK — The Plamondon Companies recently announced two personnel changes.

Gregory Seymoure has joined the company as the director of operations for Roy Rogers Restaurants.

Seymoure, who has extensive experience in the restaurant industry, will oversee operations for 18 corporate Roy Rogers Restaurants, as well as the 29 franchised units in nine states. Seymoure began his career at the McDonald’s Corp., successfully moving to the director of operations level.

He subsequently joined Boston Chicken/Market as vice president of operations and remained there until 1998. During his tenure with Boston Market, he had responsibility for over 200 units. Seymoure also held positions with Wild Oats Market and Friendly’s Ice Cream Corp.

Subsequently, Seymoure held the position of operations partner for the Panera Bread franchise in New Jersey, where he oversaw 34 cafes and was awarded “Franchisee of the Year” in 2004. Most recently, Greg operated his own consulting business for national as well as regional restaurant chains.

Katrina Wyand-Yurish has joined Plamondon as director of Human Resources.

Wyand-Yurish is a graduate of Shepherd University with a degree in business administration/marketing. She continued her studies and received a master of science degree in strategic leadership from Mountain State University. She began her professional career with Farmers & Mechanics Bank as senior learning and development trainer in 1999. In 2003, Wyand-Yurish was promoted to training and development manager to facilitate the development of more than 450 associates in numerous divisions. Most recently, she was the senior organizational development consultant for PNC Financial Services Group, Inc. in Frederick.

The Frederick-based Plamondon Companies are the franchiser for Roy Rogers Restaurants and operate 18 corporate Roy Rogers Restaurants in Frederick, Germantown, Hagerstown, Cumberland, Ranson, W.Va., and Leesburg, Va. The group also owns a Residence Inn by Marriott, Courtyard by Marriott and a Fairfield Inn by Marriott, all located in Frederick and a SpringHill Suites in Hagerstown.
