Patricia L. Lease [Cumberland]

CUMBERLAND — Patricia Louise Lease, 72, of Cumberland, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 25, 2009, at the Western Maryland Regional Medical Center.

Born July 20, 1937, in Maysville, W.Va., Mrs. Lease was the daughter of the late Stanley Berlin Thompson and Anna Clara (Chamberlain) Perrin. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Debra Ann Perrin, July 7, 2005.

A graduate of Fort Hill High School, class of 1955, Pat was a homemaker and worked for State Farm Insurance Company from 2000-2003. She was secretary/treasurer of the Western Maryland Women’s Bowling Association for 31 years and was secretary for the White Oaks Women’s Classic. Pat was inducted into the State Bowling Hall of Fame in 2004, and was league coordinator for the Bowler from 1978-1979. Pat starred on the basketball court at Fort Hill and later played softball with the Hermanetts Team.

Pat is survived by her husband of 49 years, Mike Lease; her sons, Scott Lease and his wife Lisa, Lorton, Va., Todd Lease and his wife Teresa, Cumming, Ga., and Brad Lease, Cumberland; her brother, Mike Perrin and his wife Diane, Flintstone; as well as five grandchildren, Jordan, Justin, Jared, Matthew and Nicholas Lease.

Friends will be received at the Adams Family Funeral Home, P.A., 404 Decatur St., Cumberland, (AdamsFamilyFuneralHome.com) on Friday, Nov. 27, 2009, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.

A funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home on Saturday, Nov. 28, 2009, at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Fred Iser officiating.

Interment will be in Davis Memorial Cemetery.
