Northern Middle School educator Jennifer Burdock Rankin, Maryland’s 2010 Teacher of the Year, is handed the keys to a Nissan Rogue by Sam Weaver, chairman of the Maryland Automobile Dealers Association. The association annually presents a vehicle to the state’s top teacher. It comes with the vanity license plate TOY 2010. Rankin is a language arts, prealgebra and algebra teacher at the school.
