Republicans have no ideas or solutions to nation’s woes

Brandon Butler, chairman of the Garrett County Repulican Central Committee, submitted a letter here thanking U.S. Rep. Roscoe Bartlett for voting “no” against health care reform because Congressman Bartlett knows “that throwing money at a problem doesn’t solve it.”

This is the typical “no solution attitude” of all Republicans. They have no ideas. They have no solutions. They just say no. Just saying no is what got this country in a mess this past eight years. Smarten up, Republicans. You are going the way of the Whig party. You are becoming increasingly irrelevant and you are “just say no-ing” yourselves out of existence as a credible party.

Keep up the good work solving our nation’s problems. Did you speak up when your party funded two wars outside of the budget mechanism process? No, you didn’t. Where is the Republican health care plan that Minority Leader John Boehner and Roscoe Bartlett and their ilk have been promising for months now? There isn’t one!

They keep lying to the American people telling us they have their own plan but they have never produced it. Time and time the party of “no” has been shown to be the party of no ideas.

No, you didn’t care and you don’t care now, so thank you, Republicans, for all you wonderful contributions. I pray you don’t get sick.
