CUMBERLAND — Clark Allen Morgan, 95, of Cumberland, died on Friday, Nov. 20, 2009, at the Lions Center for Rehabilitation and Extended Care.
Born Oct. 13, 1914, in Flintstone, he was the son of the late Frank Harley Morgan and Leatha G. (Welsh) Morgan.
Mr. Morgan was a World War II veteran of the United States Army and was also a purple heart recipient. He was retired from Perfect Auto Radiator Co. Inc and was a member of Central Assembly of God Church.
Mr. Morgan is survived by a son, Frank A. Morgan and wife Angeline, of Ellerslie; one granddaughter, Antoinette VanMeter and husband Jason, of Cumberland; and three great-grandchildren, William Self, Jason VanMeter, and Jeremy VanMeter, all of Cumberland.
Friends will be received at the Adams Family Funeral Home, P.A., 404 Decatur St., Cumberland, AdamsFamilyFuneralHome.com on Tuesday, Nov. 24, 2009, from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m.
A funeral service will be conducted in the funeral home on Tuesday, Nov. 24, 2009, at 10 a.m. with Pastor Larry Green officiating.
Interment will be in Prosperity United Methodist Church Cemetery.
