Laurance B. “Brad” Wolfe [Mountain Lake Park]
MOUNTAIN LAKE PARK — Laurance Bradford “Brad” Wolfe, 52, of Mountain Lake Park, died Thursday, Nov. 19, 2009, at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, W.Va.
Born Oct. 19, 1957, in Oakland, he was the son of Laurance Wakeman Wolfe, of Red House and the late Beverly Ellen (Welch) Wolfe. He was also preceded in death by his son, Brian Bradford Wolfe.
Brad was the former owner of El Lobo’s Restaurant in Mountain Lake Park.
Surviving, in addition to his father, are one daughter, Alicia Marie Metz, of Oakland; two brothers, John Wolfe, of Red House, and Adam C. Wolfe, of Swallow Falls; two grandchildren, Maria Renee Metz and Brianna Nicole Metz, both of Oakland; two nephews, John Hervey “J.J” Wolfe, of Westernport, and Travis Lee Wolfe, of Swallow Falls; one niece, Jenifer Michelle Wolfe, of Red House; numerous aunts; uncles, and cousins.
The family will receive friends at the David A. Burdock Funeral Home, P.A., 21 N. Second St., Oakland, on Monday, Nov. 23, 2009, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, Nov. 24, 2009, at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. David Moon officiating.
Interment will follow in Wolfe Cemetery.
