FRIENDSVILLE — JoAnne Paugh, 70, of Friendsville, died Tuesday, Nov. 17, 2009, at her residence.

Born Nov. 13, 1939, in Oakmont, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late Dewey Leroy and Melinda (Rhodes) Matthews.

Surviving is her husband of 51 years, Herbert Blake Paugh Sr., of Friendsville; two sons, Jeff Paugh, of Deer Park, and Herbert Paugh Jr., of Mountain Lake Park; four daughters, Brenda Burgess, of Mountain Lake Park, Teresa Titchnell, of Hazelton, W.Va., Lisa Paugh, of Friendsville, and Rebecca Saunders, of Friendsville; one brother, Leland Matthews, of Vindex; three sisters, Yvonne (Eloise) Nicholas, of Deer Park, Deanna Forrest, of Arkansas, and Marion Teets, of Oakland; 19 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends at the David A. Burdock Funeral Home, P.A., 21 N. Second St., Oakland, on Thursday, Nov. 19, 2009, from 1 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 9 p.m.
