Frostburg State University fine arts students Robert Lesher, left, a senior, and Rose Trimper, a junior, put sculpture pieces in a soda kiln at the annex of the campus’ Fine Arts Building. Two kilns are fired serveral times per semester to finish students’ projects by bringing out the glaze on the artworks in the eight-hour process.
