FROSTBURG — Naomi Marie Galliher, 63, of Frostburg, died Sunday, Nov. 15, 2009, at her home.

Born Nov. 22, 1945, in Cumberland, Mrs. Galliher was the daughter of the late Glenn Stewart Stanton and Gladys Marie (Griffiths) Stanton. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Darlene Friend.

Naomi retired from Frostburg State University and was a member of Frostburg United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Donald H. Galliher; her son, Eric G. Galliher, Frostburg; her granddaughter, Jessica E. Galliher, Hagerstown; her sister, Glennetta S. Stanton, Frostburg; her nephew, Nick Attwood, Germantown; her niece, Shawna Attwood, Cumberland; and her great-niece, Brianna Hyman, Cumberland.

A graveside service will be conducted at Mount Zion Cemetery, Grantsville, on Sunday, Nov. 22, 2009, at 2 p.m. with Chaplain Lewis Twigg officiating.
