TANEYTOWN — Albert W. Loughridge Jr., age 45, of Taneytown, died suddenly on Sunday, Nov. 8, 2009, in Taneytown.

Born Dec. 23, 1963, in Saint James, Mo., he was the son of Albert W. Loughridge Sr. of Altoona, Pa., and the late Janet Parsons Loughridge.

Al was an auto mechanic with Rob’s Service Center in Taneytown. He loved music, eagles and Harley Davidson motorcycles.

Surviving, in addition to his father, are a son, Justin W. Loughridge of Oldtown; sisters, Misty Loughridge of Saint James, and Robin Wofford Holtkamp of Rolla, Mo. Also surviving are his stepmother, Karen Loughridge; stepsisters, Jennifer Guyer, Bailee and Fern Loughridge; and stepbrother, David Guyer, all of Altoona.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Glendyn Loughridge.

A private viewing was held Tuesday, Nov. 10, 2009, in Taneytown.

A memorial dinner was held Sunday, Nov. 15, 2009, in Saint James.

A private burial took place Monday, Nov. 16, 2009, in Saint James.
