Robert Royce Wagner Jr. [Las Vegas]

LAS VEGAS, Nev. — Robert Royce Wagner Jr., 43, of Las Vegas, Nev., formerly of Cumberland, passed away Monday, Oct. 12, 2009.

Born June 2, 1966, in Cumberland, he was the son of the late Robert Wagner Sr. and JoAnn (Welch) Wagner of Jacksonville, Fla.

Bob was a 1985 graduate of Allegany High School and he served in the United States Air Force for 8 years after graduation.

Surviving are his daughters, Heather Leasure, of Ellicott City, and Rachel (Leasure) Christie and husband Travis, of Chambersburg, Pa.; ex-wife, Dawn (Van Meter) Leasure and husband Robert, of Chambersburg, Pa.; brother, Frank Wagner and wife Amy, of San Antonio, Texas; sister, Lisa (Wagner) Wiley and husband Steve, of Topeka, Kan.; aunts, Sue Ann (Wagner) Nies and husband Louis, of Cumberland, Jane (Welch) Brown, of Palm Springs, Fla.; uncle, James Welch, of Rawlings; and best friend, Michael Jones and his children. Bob has his first grandson, Aden James due to arrive in February 2010 and has one nephew; three nieces, as well as two more to arrive in November. He has several cousins.

Bob was a Christian by faith and a member of Living Stone Church of the Brethren while married.

The committal service will be conducted at Rocky Gap Veteran’s Cemetery on Nov. 20, 2009, at 2:30 p.m.

In lieu of flowers and gifts, his daughters’ request memorial donations be made to State Employees Credit Union, c/o Rachel Christie or Heather Leasure, National Highway, LaVale, MD 21502.
