The owners of the Carr Farm would like to thank all of the volunteers who participated in our first annual “Festival of Fright.”
Because of you, we were able to have a very successful show. The “Haunted Hollow” and the “Headless Horseman’s Hayride” were both fun and exciting for all of our attendees.
We would like to thank all of you who donated canned goods with your purchase. Because of you, we will be able to make a donation to two worthy organizations: The Western Maryland Food Bank and the Ellerslie Volunteer Fire Department.
Look for future events at the Carr Farm in your local newspapers. Be watching for our website.
On a sad note, I would ask others to refrain from vandalizing our signs.
The only thing you accomplished by your acts of vandalism was our inability to make larger donations to the two organizations we have affiliated ourselves with, thereby denying people of our communities basic needs in the upcoming holiday season.
We are all here for the benefit of the community. We are not here to compete, only to help where we can.
So in the future lets promote each other so that we all can benefit from our hard work and dedication.
Again, Thank you. Hope to see you at the Carr Farm at our next event.
