ROCKVILLE — Clara C. LaVorata, of Rockville, passed away on Thursday, Oct. 22, 2009.

Born in Piedmont, W.Va., she was the beloved daughter of the late Frank Sr. and Catherine Lavorata; sister of Teresa A. DeRosa and Frank (Floria) Lavorata Jr.; and sister-in-law of the late Carl DeRosa.

She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to Ms. Lavorata’s Life Celebration at the George P. Kalas Funeral Home, 6160 Oxon Hill Road, Oxon Hill, on Tuesday, Oct. 27, 2009, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m.

Mass of Christian Burial will be offered Wednesday, Oct. 28, 2009, at 11 a.m. at St. Philip the Apostle Catholic Church, 5416 Henderson Way, Camp Springs.

Interment will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery.
