OAKLAND — Bruce Adam Deal, 20, of Oakland, died Sunday in Oakland.

Born March 29, 1989 in Oakland, he was the son of Dr. Paul and Nancy (Brown) Deal of Oakland.

Surviving in addition to his parents, are paternal grandparent, June Deal of Kingwood, W.Va.; maternal grandparents Willard and Jane Brown of Terra Alta, W.Va.; five sisters, Shawn R. Deal of Oakland, Jan Alpaugh and Joy Deal both of Atlanta, Ga., Cheri Bickerstaff of Fredericksburg, Va. and Beverly Deal of Arthurdale, W.Va.

The family will receive friends at the David A. Burdock Funeral Home, P.A., 21 N. Second St., Oakland, on Wednesday, Oct. 28, 2009 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.

Funeral services are 10 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 29, 2009 at St. Matthews Episcopal Church, Oakland, with the Rev. Dr. Chip Lee and the Rev. Manning Smith officiating.
