Show at Windsor Hall postponed
CUMBERLAND — The performance by Professor Louie and the Crowmatix scheduled for Saturday at Windsor Hall has been postponed until April 24 at the Allegany Arts Council.
The show will be presented by One Tree Productions.

CUMBERLAND — 211 Maryland, a free, confidential information and referral hotline, is now accessible to Allegany and Garrett counties.
With access to more than 4,200 health and human service resources, 211 Maryland provides people the answers they need to address problems such as rent, foreclosure, energy assistance, emergency shelter, food, child care, mental health and more. People in these counties can now access the three-digit number via land lines and cell phones.
The service is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week and is staffed by four call centers around the state.
Last year, 211 call specialists answered more than 500,000 calls.
Mineral economic group meets today
KEYSER, W.Va. — The Mineral County Development Authority will meet today at 8:30 a.m. in the Grand Central Conference Room.
The agenda includes a discussion of the authority’s audit and conflict of interest questionnaires.
Executive Director Mona Ridder will report on recent conferences.
Committee reports incude support and services, retention, marketing, finance, communications infrastruture and Green Jobs Task Force.
Breastfeeding classes begin on Wednesday
CUMBERLAND — The Allegany and Garrett County health departments are offering a breastfeeding class made possible by a grant from Maryland Physicians Care.
Classes at the health department on Willowbrook Road are scheduled the third Wednesday of October, November and December from 2 to 3 p.m. Call (301) 759-5024 to sign up.
