Costume shop opens


The Allegany County Chamber of Commerce recently welcomed a new business, The Cumberland Keep, to Allegany County and to the organization. Owned by Lexie Haines, the costume rental store also sells costumes, wigs, masks, make-up and other accessories. The new establishment is located at 414 Virginia Ave. In front, from left to right, are City Councilman Butch Hendershot, Chamber First Vice Chairman Stu Czapski, County Commissioner James Stakem, Chamber President Kolin Jan, Lexie Haines, owner; Demon Master (Mayor Lee Fiedler), City Councilman Brian Grim and Chamber Second Vice Chairman Mark Widmyer. In back, same order, are Terri Bennett, City of Cumberland, Scott Haines, The Cumberland Keep Inc., Barbara Beebe, Chamber Board of Directors, and Mandi Turner, The Cumberland Keep Inc.
