Crowning moment

Alicia Taylor, 19, of Fort Ashby, W.Va., is crowned Queen Silvia LXXIII of the Mountain State Forest Festival by West Virginia Lt. Gov. Earl Ray Tomblin Friday in Elkins, W.Va. Taylor, a junior at Allegany College of Maryland, is the daughter of Jeff and Linda Adams of Fort Ashby and the late Patrick Taylor. The festival continues today with the grand feature parade featuring the Pride of West Virginia, the West Virginia University Marching Band.
