Michael Levick portrays President Franklin Delano Roosevelt as he passes the Veterans Memorial on Cumberland’s Centre Street during last year’s inaugural Cumberland Goes to War celebration. Levick, in character, reviewed the troops, World War II re-enactors encamped at Canal Place, and boarded the Western Maryland Scenic Railroad for a special excursion to Frostburg and back. He will return for the festivities this year.
