Firefighters survey damage to a home at 1101 Lexington Ave. after fire damaged the structure Tuesday evening. First reported at 7:05 p.m. by the home’s occupant, firefighters from Cumberland, LaVale, Bowling Green, Bowman’s Addition, Bedford Road and Ridgeley, W.Va., responded. The blaze was reported under control at 7:35 p.m. Allegheny Power and the American Red Cross were also dispatched to the scene. The last firefighting units cleared the scene just before 10 p.m.
