Newton Reams and his wife, Daisy, owned a general store in the community of Swallow Falls in Garrett County along Oakland-Sang Run Road. Reams met Henry Ford during one of the auto magnate’s trips to Muddy Creek Falls and sold him two sawmill boilers.
