Pair arrested on drug charges
ACCIDENT — Two Garrett County residents were recently arrested for various controlled dangerous substance offenses, including manufacturing and possession of marijuana.
On Wednesday, members of the Garrett County Narcotics Task Force and the Garrett County Sheriff’s Office arrested Accident resident David Bradshaw Hancock Jr. The 20-year old Hancock was charged with manufacturing and possessing marijuana after four marijuana plants were recovered.
On Tuesday, the sheriff’s office and narcotics task force executed a search and seizure warrant along Bethlehem Road in Oakland. As a result of the search, John Patrick Eubanks, 18, of Oakland, was arrested for manufacturing and possessing marijuana along with possession of CDS paraphernalia.
Both Eubanks and Hancock were released on personal recognizance after appearing before a district court commissioner.
