The driver of this tractor-trailer was charged with negligent driving after crashing into a median wall on westbound Interstate 68 east of Vocke Road, LaVale, Thursday afternoon. Kevin T. Ware, 31, of Jacksonville, Ala., was not transported to a hospital following the 4:45 p.m. crash, according to a Maryland State Police report. The vehicle spun out of control on the wet roadway, causing it to strike the concrete barrier wall off the left shoulder. Ware’s speed prior to the crash was also a contributing factor, according to the report. The barrier wall sustained heavy damage. Troopers J.C. King and B.J. Jeffries investigated. Rescue units from LaVale, as well as the State Highway Administration also responded.
