ACWORTH, Ga. — Linda Lopez, 38, of Acworth, Ga., passed away on Friday, Feb. 5, 2010.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Alice Landis.

Mrs. Lopez attended the Bells Ferry Church of God and was an assistant manager in training at Racetrac.

Survivors include her husband, Jose Lopez, of Acworth; children, Alicia Pifer, Hetzel Pifer, and Jay Mishow, all of Acworth, and Megan High, of West Virginia; parents, Ray and Martha Aleshire, of Tennessee; sisters, Donna Mattingly, Raetta Perla, and Valerie Lease, all of Maryland, Christina Dodge, of Florida; brothers, Michael Hirsch, of Ohio, Larry Aleshire, of Maryland, and Charles Hirsch of Michigan; and grandsons, Michael and Julian Lopez.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Sosebee Memorial Funeral Home.

Memorial services are scheduled for 1 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 11, 2010, from the Sosebee Memorial Chapel with Pastor Ted Wooldridge and Rev. Danny Key officiating.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Linda Lopez Memorial Fund at Bank of America for her grandson’s college education.
