Jean M. Williams [Frostburg]

FROSTBURG — Jean Marie Williams, 72, of Frostburg, died Sunday, Feb. 7, 2010, at Western Maryland Regional Medical Center.

Born Oct. 10, 1937, in Frostburg, Jean was the daughter of the late Harry Williams and Elizabeth (Evans) Williams. Jean was also preceded in death by one brother, Jack Williams.

Ms. Williams was a retired teacher with Allegany County Board of Education.

She is survived by one son, Billy Long and wife Anita, of Frostburg; cousins Barlinda and Jon Lancaster, of Frostburg, Cassie and Jeff Hunter, of Barton, and Troy Long, of Pittsburgh, Pa.; and numerous great-nieces and great-nephews.

Friends will be received at the Durst Funeral Home, P.A., 57 Frost Ave., Frostburg, on Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m.

Funeral services will be conducted in the funeral home on Friday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. George M. Harpold officiating.

Interment will be in the Frostburg Memorial Park.
