Four charged in arson tied to teen's death

MILLERSVILLE (AP) — A 22-year-old man and three teens are charged in an Odenton arson directed at a youth the four associated with the death of a Crofton teen last month.

Jonathan Myers of Crofton, a 15- and 16-year-old boy from Crofton and a 16-year-old Gambrills boy were charged Tuesday night and Wednesday morning with arson.

Last week, they allegedly threw a molotov cocktail at the home of a boy they thought was involved in Christopher Jones’ May 30 death. But police said the victim has no connection to Jones’ death, who was punched by several boys before falling off his bike and hitting his head.
