Grant County Bank kicks in $10,000 for Keyser High athletic complex

KEYSER, W.Va. — Grant County Bank has pledged $10,000 to The Campaign for Keyser High School to support the completion of the new athletics complex.

The new complex — which will begin being used this fall — will include artificial turf, along with a field house, press box, track, fencing and bleachers. The facility will fill Keyser High School’s urgent need for an athletics complex and will qualify the high school to host state and regional events, which will generate additional revenue for the community.

“Grant County Bank is proud to make this commitment to help provide a bright future for our young men and women. Our bank is very community-minded, and we are proud to be able to provide financial support for a project that will be such a tremendous source of pride for our students and for the entire community,” said Bob Lupton, branch manager at the New Creek-Keyser Office.

The Campaign for Keyser High School continues, with several naming opportunities still available. For more information, contact the school at (304) 788-4230, Ext. 40.
