ADDISON, Pa. — One person died in a fire that destroyed a trailer in Somerset County early Sunday, according to the Pennsylvania State Police.
A state police dispatcher acknowledged the agency was investigating the incident, but declined to provide additional information Sunday night because the trooper handling the probe had not filed a report.
Volunteer fire departments from Addison, Farmington, Markleysburg and Friendsville sent units to the 1:43 a.m. blaze on Sarvast Road, Addison.
An officer with the Friendsville department said the fire was in a trailer with a garage and his department cleared the scene at 6:05 a.m.
Calls to the Addison Volunteer Fire Department went unanswered Sunday night.
