Northern Drama Club presenting ‘Student Night Live!’ next week

ACCIDENT — “Student Night Live!” — an original work written and directed by drama teacher Nathan Marshall — will be preformed at Northern Garrett High School on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday at 7 p.m.

The play is a farcical compilation of eight ridiculous skits that touch on subjects ranging from mid-life crisis dating to one man’s struggle with a demonic house cat.

Children 8 years old and under will be admitted free of charge. Proceeds from the play will benefit the Northern Drama Club, with a portion going to the charity Hunter’s Hope. More information about Hunter’s Hope may be obtained online at huntershope.org.

The play stars Northern seniors Lara Beitzel, Jesse Biser, Laura Butner, Kristen Dewitt, Dylan Gallagher, Travis McFarland and Linzi Sisler, junior Mallory Brenneman, and the narrator of the show, Michelle Harman.

Each member of the cast will be performing as a variety of different characters.

The musical guest for the evening will be local alternative rock band ReDefined in Red; members of the band include Jeremy Beitzel, Justin Beitzel, Neil Buckel and Jesse Storey. More about ReDefined in Red is available on the band’s Web site, which is located on MySpace.com.
