A grand opening was recently held for Ridgeview Valley, a new village-style community just off U.S. Route 219 in McHenry.
The environmentally friendly, planned community is currently offering home sites beginning at approximately one-half acre, in a 308-acre setting designed for people who enjoy an active lifestyle. There will be miles of hiking, biking and cross-country trails, tennis, volleyball and basketball courts, a multipurpose field, playgrounds and a beautiful old restored barn that will hold community events in the adjoining amphitheater.
“You’ll even be able to take the kids to the indoor swimming pool in the community center, which also includes an exercise facility, party room and a private massage sanctuary,” said Sandy Bello, sales director for Ridgeview Valley.
More than 150 acres will be left untouched to ensure that there are always beautiful views. The environmentally friendly approach at Ridgeview Valley also extends to the furnished model home which is an inviting modern day cottage, built with a variety of energy efficient features. “When you are ready to relax, meet on the deck and enjoy some sizzling steaks and a complex cab, or fruity chardonnay, with friends and family,” said Bello.
“Ridgeview Valley is less than five minutes’ drive from Deep Creek Lake, the ski slopes, the ASCI whitewater course and all kinds of shopping and services,” said Christie Barbone of Lakeside Title.
