Eating disorder info on display

CUMBERLAND - In observance of National Eating Disorder Awareness Week, Linton's Managed Services Inc. is hosting a display at the Thomas B. Finan Center near the cafeteria from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. each day through Friday.

Eating disorder information will be available for the public and for medical professionals. Sponsored by the National Eating Disorder Association, the outreach effort conveys the message that eating disorders are illnesses and there is help and hope available.

The display information includes how to stop the spread of eating disorders, healthy weight guidelines, promoting safe and healthy weight loss, referral guidelines for nutrition counseling with a registered dietitian and resources for finding appropriate eating disorder treatment.

Using goodsearch.com as an Internet search engine today will result in a donation to the national association.
